Greater Rochester Chamber invites you to join us for this Chamber Counsel webinar to learn about how an Employee Handbook is a key part of  how your organization communicates with its employees.  Unfortunately, some companies have not updated their employee handbook recently, and their handbooks are communicating inaccurate and unlawful information to employees.  This presentation will help you determine on whether you need to make changes to your handbook and best practices going forward.

What will be covered in this presentation:

  • There have been many legal changes to New York and federal employment laws over the past year, many of which require updates to your handbook.  This presentation will help you ensure that your handbook is up-to-date and legally compliant.
  • This presentation will cover when to update your handbook going forward and ways to stay on top of new changes to employment laws.
  • This presentation will also cover best practices with respect to policy acknowledgement forms.
Presented by: Katherine McClung, Member & Stephanie Fedorka, Associate, Bond Schoeneck & King PLLC
